There are times in life when you feel unappreciated and alone. You try so hard to fight for what you believe in and for the people you have at heart, yet none of it seems to be noticed. And when the odds are against you, it seems they are just looking on unconcerned. It may be so for men but with God its not. When the odds are against you for standing for God or believing and doing the things of God, He definitely is concerned and His eyes are continually watching over you.

At some point Elijah thought he was alone and God didn’t care what he did for Him, if I should say. Elijah run but the Lord sent an angel to strengthen him, but what did he use the strength for? He traveled so far just to hide in a cave? It may be kind of interesting to me but why would God give me strength just so I can hide? I know He is more than capable to take care of me. God does not want you to give up your passion for Him or His work. He doesn’t want you to run from the pressures of life and just hide! He wants you to relocate to the mountain top, into His presence where you cannot be hidden from any man’s eye. And after the shaking and strong winds, BE STILL AND KNOW THAT HE IS GOD!!

God has promised us so many things yet we expect too little from Him. keep doing His work, He has prepared helpers and co-workers for you. Just so you know you are not alone, ARISE! LETS GO TO THE MOUNTAIN TOP!!!!

In order for you be committed, there must be a subject to which you commit yourself or your resources to. You must have a motive and a reason why to commit to something, and that driving force is what will enable you remain committed when the going get tough. You need to have a clarity of purpose in order to live a fulfilled life. Committing to your purpose demands a lot of diligent work, remember that ” nothing works, until you work it”.

Commit yourself to God’s purpose for your life 

A little boy fell sick one evening. He wanted his neighbor who happen to be a pastor to pray for him but the pastor had gone to church. The little boy went to sleep that night without seeing the pastor. The next morning the boy woke up very early and went to sit in front of the pastor’s door. At about 6 am, the pastor came out and saw the little boy who had been waiting quietly for him to wake up. He picked the boy and took him in, he served him breakfast but the boy was too sick to eat anything. He asked the pastor to pray for him and anoint him. After the prayer he asked, “is the sickness gone? will i get better?”. The pastor responded with a smile, “yes dear it is gone God has healed you”. The boy got down and asked for food, after eating he went round telling everyone that he was fine and not sick anymore. He was indeed healed.

That little boy was just 3 years old. How much do you believe in God? How much do you believe in prayer? How do you live after you have prayed about something? If only you had a little faith……

I don’t need a reminder to know what day is meant specially for you

I don’t need a guide to show me steps to express how i feel about you

I don’t need a coach to show me how to love you

I don’t need a special day to celebrate you,

Because if i did i would you all the days in the year to show you how much you mean to me.
